Apple Chutney adpated fromĀ Closet Cooking 1 pound apples, peeled, cored and cut into 1/2 inch dice 1 small onion, diced 1 jalapeno, seeded and minced 1 tablespoon garlic, minced 1 tablespoon ginger, minced 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar 1/2 cup apple juice 1/2 cup raisins 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon ginger, allspice, cloves 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper Bring everything to a boil in a saucepan. Reduce heat and simmer until it thickens - about 50 minutes. |
