Who we are...

Vancouver City Singers is a community choir with a 60-year history: beginning as a group of city employees, VCS is now a lively medium-sized choir of 25-35 SATB voices.  We sing everything from vocal jazz and gospel to American standards, folk tunes and more traditional repertoire. 

And, we are blessed to have Choral Director Matthew Smith leading us, with the very gifted Catherine Tseng accompanying on piano.

SPRING SEASON STARTS JANUARY 15, 2024 !!!!

Whether you’re an experienced singer or maybe haven't done much singing before but know you can carry a tune, come join VCS for our Spring 2024 term! Singers for all sections are very welcome, and we will lay out a red carpet for you if you're a bass or tenor :)

Rehearsals are every Monday night beginning Jan. 15th, 7:00-9:00pm, at the Spirit of Life Lutheran Church on West 10th Ave @ Yukon.  You can come to a couple of rehearsals to check us out first or sign up for the term right away.  {The term runs thru approx. mid-Dec - dates to be finalized in the coming weeks}
