The UNIFICATION continues the saga with the characters that survived the earlier editions, carrying the flavors of book one, The BATTLE LORD and book two, The PROMISE of the ANCIENTS.
Thinking that the threat of the Selgai and the Master has been resolved with the aid of an Ancient , the Tuloran army and those that assisted in the quest are finally able to return to their homes.
Zaclin, the Queen Mother, advocates the throne to live with her husband, which throws the Selgai & Delshin Empire into anarchy. Lost and with no one to turn to for leadership, part become loyal the rulers of the Tuloran Nation, although many of the human residents cannot get past their hate of the under-earth dwellers . A few follow Zaclin, being unable to break from a life in servitude. Some go in hiding, and still others disappear - for a time.
Lannyn returns to his home in Excido Adluvio, (the Forgotten Lands) to live in the House of Draconia, awaiting the birth of their child. Even though he knows that his marriage, heart and mind were manipulated by his wife's magic and trickery, he feels bound to stand beside her for the love of their son.
