Reaching Students for Christ in Boston

Why College Students?

  • Only 1% of the world’s population attends a college or university, yet from this elite group comes the vast majority of leaders in   business, government, science, education and the arts.  In fact, 1 out of every 5 of today’s world leaders completed some of their education in Boston.
  • The anti-God influence on campus reinforces students’ skepticism and intimidates those who do believe.  Who will speak for God at these academic institutions?
  • Throughout church history, college students, more than any other age group, have sparked revivals and launched mission efforts (often sacrificing prosperous careers) to reach the world for Christ.
  •  During college students are making major decisions about what they believe and for “whom” they will live.  See this video

Why Boston?

In the midst of a spiritually cold city like Boston, there are an astounding 44campuses with over 250,000 students.  Universities range from schools like Harvard, MIT, Boston College, and Wellesley, to small, but prominent, performing arts schools like Berklee College of Music and Boston Conservatory.  Boston schools are among the most academically influential and internationally represented in all the world.  Because it’s such an influential city, Boston has been dubbed the Hub of the Universe.  Consequently, if Christ-centered leaders can be raised up and sent from these campuses, our nation (and many other nations) will be greatly influenced for Christ.  Student flock to Boston each year to pursue their dreams and future careers.  Our vision is help make God a real part of their vision for their lives.  Our hope is to give every tudent in Boston the chance to know and experience the reality of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
