Gorg Pisani was a famous poet and author born in Victoria, Gozo, Malta on the 6th. May 1909 to Paolo and Teresa nee' Calleja.

During his long literary career he published several books, including poetry, drama, novels, history, folklore, essays and short stories. He was also a regular contributor to several magazines and newspapers on Gozitan history and the national TV station. Married to Mary Rose nee' Formosa he had one son, Paul George, a Public Nottary. He died in Victoria, Gozo, Malta on the 24th. February 1999 aged 89.
