A list of Venatian Pisani men for who I have yet to make the link with the documented family tree. All help in find their place in the family greatly appreciated.

  • Almorò Pisani built the church of San Antonio in 976, and also a large part of the associated monastery.
  • Pietro Pisani, mentioned in 1153.
  • Almorò Pisani, son of Vittore, made Prison Governor under Tommaso Morosini in 1199
  • Marino Pisani, son of Antonio, was one of the 41 electors of Doge Marino Giorgi in 1311
  • Nicolò Pisani, son of Antonio, was one of the 41 electors of Doge Andrea Dandolo in 1342
  • Andrea Pisani, son of Nicolò qu. Andrea, was part of the war administration in 1348, and then one of the electors of Doge Marino Faliero
  • Vittor Pisani of San Fantino, son of Pietro, was one of the most illustrious sea captains there was. In 1361 he was elected 'Generale di Mare' against the Genoese
  • Francesco Pisani, son of Almorò, was Mayor and Captain of Treviso in 1409
  • Pietro Pisani, son of Francesco, was Mayor and Captain of Treviso in 1438
  • Luca Pisani, son of Nicolò qu. Antonio, was Captain of Verona in 1481
  • Paolo Pisani, son of Luca, was a Knight and was sent as the Ducal ambassador to Austria in 1483
  • Almorò Pisani, son of Marc'Antonio, was Captain of the Council of Ten in 1574
  • Francesco Pisani was sent to Friuli and Trevigiano as "Corn Administrator" in 1628. He was made Mayor of Padova in 1632
  • Francesco Giovanni Pisani, son of Procurator Almorò Pisani, was Mayor of Brescia and a member of the Council of Ten in 1680. In 1688 he was one of the electors of Doge Francesco Morosini. He died 27th April 1703, aged 70.
  • Alvise Pisani, son of Procurator Almorò Pisani, was Superintendent at Legnago and then Captain of Padova in 1687. He was created Procurator of San Marco in 1691. He died 23rd April 1710, aged 74)
  • Alvise Pisani, son of Giovanni Francesco qu. Almorò. Elected as Ambassador to the French Court in 1700. Went on to become the Doge of Venice.
  • Carlo Pisani, son of Giovanni Francesco qu. Almorò. Elected as Superintendent in Dalmatia and Albaniain 1710. In 1716 and 1717 he was Lieutenant Colonel to Andrea Pisani, his brother, who was 'Capitane Generale'. He died 23rd May 1750
