Geoff was 63,passed away in his sleep on Wednesday 18th November 2009.

He loved his banding, having spent over 30 years playing bass in the Coventry SA band, then a number of years with Rolls-Royce (Coventry) Band, where he was part of the band that won the 1st national finals in 1995, something he felt extremely proud of, and reminded us of quite frequently !!

The last band he played with was Shirley Band which he loved, loved the people and enjoyed success in so many contest wins etc.

He still had a bass in his bedroom at his death and yet his lack of mobility in recent years had prevented him from enjoying his beloved hobby.

He will be greatly missed as super bandsman, a lovely warm good natured man, and most of all as A TRUE FRIEND.
