The Fair Trading Commission is in charge of dealing with anti-competitive business practices and is also in charge of protecting and enforcing consumer rights. Its ultimate mandate is to ensure fair open market competition for the ultimate benefit of consumers. The Fair Trading Commission is still at its infancy, but, on the assumption that it does what it's supposed to do, the breadth of its powers suggests that it may have a very powerful role to play in the business environment in the country. The offices of the Fair Trading Commission are located at Orion Mall. Page last updated on the 19th of November 2010. |
