Since its emergence in 2005, this completely student-run organization has taken the Gainesville a cappella scene by storm. The Sedoctaves recently hosted and placed third in the 2009 International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA) quarterfinals. The group's most impressive accomplishment to date was its recent performance at the Florida Women's Hall of Fame 2009 Induction Ceremony. The girls Gator-chomped their way to the State Capitol where they were honored to meet many inspirational women and Gov. Charlie Crist. The Sedoctaves can be seen performing at many different venues around the Gainesville area, working hard to create a strong fan base and truly make a name for themselves. With a little pink, a little black and whole lot of sass, the Sedoctaves will have you begging for more!
