Project Goal: Collaborative groups of 4-5 students will design, write, illustrate and edit a newspaper online that integrates the Social Studies Curriculum with the Massachusetts State Technology Standards. 
Take on the role of a journalist/reporter traveling to Ancient Rome! You are part of a team of journalists that will produce "The Roman Record".  Gather your data from Google Earth, Ancient Rome 3D, recommended websites, and library resources. Create  illustrations, graphics, and maps using computer drawing programs of your choice that relate to or enhance your article. Complete and share your work using Google Docs for editing and feedback.  Each journalist will choose topics. Use your own words, be creative, and remember your audience!
