Are you tired of hanging on a thin thread to this Christian faith? Do you long for a more integrated way of living this life to its fullest? This weekend, we will have the opportunityto explore the possibilities of living more fully into practicing the ways of Jesus not just on Sundays and during special retreats, but in our ordinary and mundane parts of our everyday lives. And of course, we will have tons of fun as we share a weekend together meeting new friends and reconnecting with old friends in the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountain. Camp Details: CityTeam Camp MayMac is located in the Santa Cruz Mountain, 25 miles south of San Jose. Nested on 178 acres of wooded rolling hills, Camp MayMac features comfortable carpeted cabins with private baths, spacious auditorium for meetings, a beautiful dining area, and with experienced kitchen staff who serves quality and delicious meals. Onsite recreational facilities include large, outdoor swimming pool, regulation basketball court, sand volleyball court, horseshoe pit, ping pong tables, pickle-ball court, two large play field (ideal for soccer or baseball), and miles of hiking trails. (All courts are equipped with night lighting.) Camp Speaker: Mark Scandrette (www.markscandrette.com) is an author, a teacher, and an activist. He is the founding director of ReIMAGINE, a collective that invites people into integrative spiritual experiments and practices, (with an emphasis on creativity, community building and social action). He is passionate and hopeful about this moment, and what it might me for us to do justice, love mercy and walk humbly amidst the complexities of the emerging world. "Though I am a novice, I am deeply inspired by the life and teachings of Jesus Christ." Each year he hosts a series of projects, retreats and workshops that explore and inhabit various core themes in the way of Jesus. He also writes and travels to teach groups and mentor other leaders who aspire to live and teach an authentic and socially conscious spiritual path. He lives with his wife and three high school aged children in an old Victorian in San Francisco’s Mission District. In his spare time he loves to cook, travel, hike, taste wine, write poetry and throw parties– (though his family is quite embarrassed by his dancing). Cost/Registration Deadline:
