L-MA uses both a
Heated and Non-Heated Adhesion Surface Testing. Our testing process is
150F for one hour and then we raise the temperature by 5 degrees until
failure or delamination occurs.
We maintain tested samples for 1 year in a temperature controlled
environment and an additional 4 years in bulk storage.
L-MA does not
certify the adhesion of any company as we cannot control the adhesive
application process on each component. L-MA test individual components
and maintains a spot check program to create a QC system for component
producers.
