Welcome to the Laminated Material Adhesion Testing Site (L-MA , pronounced "el-ma" ).

L-MA is dedicated to the testing and evaluation of adhesion of laminated plastic sheets to cabinet doors, board, steel and other surfaces.  Our customers submit their laminated doors and other products to L-MA to assure that their adhesion meets the industry's standards.

Currently the KCMA requires a 120F test for 24 hours. L-MA test standards are for higher temps that might occur in the Kitchen environment or in transit and storage in hot transportation trailers.

If your Laminated Surface supplier is a tested customer of L-MA you can submit your doors as a spot check for a nominal fee. This is essentially subsidized by the component producer's yearly testing fee. When you submit doors for testing this creates a spot check system.

You may ask us if your door supplier is L-MA tested and we will confirm or deny however we do not give out lists.
