Origin
In the late summer of 2006, TR!P was founded by the following SIX members;
Junichiro Akiba a.k.a. Jeff Jeffty JEFF,
Takatoshi Yamaguchi a.k.a. GUCCI,
Dai Yoshizawa a.k.a. DPH,
Shohei Nakamura, Shoppe
Mototsugu Uezono a.k.a. Mokkun,
and the Chief Cabinet Secretary Tomoya Shiina.
(There also exists an oversea branch, headed by the newest member Eiken So.)
These were the members of the first official party produced by TR!P, which were held at Shohei Residence in Katsura, Kyoto.

Our name
The name "TRIP" sprang up to the mind of Jeff Akiba and Shohei Nakamura on the train to Kyoto, when they were going to found an organization that would entertain people by producing various fun events such as parties.
The name basically stands for "The Reason I Party", and it can also reminds of a psychological "trip" which takes place at the high time of a party.
It may be also understood as "To Rest In Peace". It can mean anything, literally.
