Malaria is a disease in Zambia- and Africa that is transmitted through the female mosquitos. It is the top cause of death in Zambia, Africa. Below are a few interesting facts...

  • Every 30 seconds a child dies from Malaria
  • Recent evidence has been found that scientists believe that King Tut died of Malaria
  • Zambia is the 4th leading country with Malaria deaths (but also has the largest population)
  • 1/3 of deaths in Africa are caused by Malaria
  • Children are the ones that are most harmed by this disease
