The Pink Apostles are a group of women from Southern Illinois who have a passion for Jesus. Our leadership team consists of 6 women who attend 4 different churches between us. We organize various Bible Studies that are held in women's homes, 'PINK' ladies, minister and serve at the Lighthouse Shelter 4 times a year, and hold a monthly event called Refresh Your Soul. WE ARE NOT A CLUB! Any women who would like to attend may do so as many times as she wants, or as few! We are a community women's ministry designed to provide a safe and fun atmosphere in which all women are welcome ~ regardless of denomination, or lack there of. Our events are for churched or unchurched women.
We believe that there is but one way to heaven, and that is through saving faith in Christ Jesus, and in Him alone. Not by works, but through grace only.
Romans 10: 9 & 10, 13 'If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord', and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation. For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.'
Mission: To provide an environment for women to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus, and to nourish them in their walk with the Lord.
Vision: To bring Jesus our Lord and Savior to our community. Purpose: To organize and operate Christian conferences, events, study groups, and various small group activities for the women of Southern Illinois.
Activities will be designed and focused to spread the Good News that Jesus Christ is Lord. |
