Pilates consists of a series of strengthening and flexibility exercises done on a mat or specialized equipment using springs and/or body weight for resistance. The focus is on the core of the body, the abdominals, back and hip muscles. The versatility of the method accommodates and challenges the abilities of everyone from novice exerciser to the most conditioned athletes. This can be achieved through mat exercises as well as Pilates exercise equipment.
Equipment on hand...
Five reformers, 1 cadillac or trapeze table, 4 wunda chair and Pilates spring board, 1 ladder barrel, 5 portable ballet Barres. We also have a variety of small apparatus to enhance training. |
