Program areas and guidelines may be changing for 2013.

The 2012 grant cycle is closed. Please do not submit Concept Letters until further notice.

The Orchard Foundation is a private charitable foundation, founded in 1990, that makes grants to non-profit organizations concerned with the environment and children, youth and families in New York and New England. Please refer to the Program Area document and the Application Guidelines document for specifics concerning areas funded, areas not funded, deadlines, application procedures, and reporting requirements.

Please note that a part-time Executive Director staffs the office. Please assume an answering machine will answer your phone call and be prepared to leave a message. Better yet, send an email. If you are not sure whether your project fits within our guidelines, feel free to send an email or call with your question. While the foundation office is closed for July and August, we do check our phone and email messages from time to time, so we will eventually get to your queries.  And finally, please be aware that the foundation guidelines change occasionally so if you are reading a printed copy of the application guidelines or program areas, please check the web site for updated information before emailing any material.
