The one thing that you'll find about scooter riders is
that they are diverse--in age, size, occupations and interests. Our
membership ranges from physicians to retirees and teens to seventies.
The one defining characteristic is their love of scooters. The Negative Image Scooter Club welcomes anyone riding a scooter to join us for a weekly gathering and ride, Wednesdays at six at Open Face Eatery. Some of our rides are quite long and a bit of a slog for 50cc machines,
but we keep the speed down so they can keep up. Many of us have
graduated to 200-250cc scooters and there are a
couple of even larger capacity scooters as
well. The group began in 1998 with a handful of members and now lists
about fifty active members. We visit other clubs' rallies and since
2008, once a year, we have organized a local rally. New and used
scooters are available from local dealers who also can provide service tips and parts.
There's always friendly advice available for newcomers. We stay in touch through email, so if you'd like to join, click here.
