Activism, can be described as intentional action to bring about social, political, economic, or environmental change. This action is in support of, or opposition to, one side of an often controversial argument.

There have been times in history when standing up for what is right, is seen as wrong or too hard to suffer though. Although standing up for what you believe can hold stigmas, believeing in what you are living for, gives life true meaning.
As a foster kid I know that there are many things childeren and youth are suffering with no to little to NO voice.

Throughout foster care I was extreamly over medicated and continued to struggle with my life even with all the government could offer, stabbility and compassion they lacked.

As an adult I have seen the harm of miseducation and the abuse of control and knowledge. That being said I have found compassion and aid in Cannabis.

Compassion, in that the community of cannabis users relate to me in one way or another. I find solice in the idea that I'm not alone. Aide, in that it provides me with the ability to continue to manage my daily life, though I suffer from an autoimmune disorder.

These are the two things that I am an activist for. I also only rescue animals and support all things founded in love peace and education.

Cannabis (Cán-na-bis) is a genus of flowering plants that includes three putative species, Cannabis sativa,[1] Cannabis indica[1] and Cannabis ruderalis. These three taxa are indigenous to Central Asia, and South Asia.[2] Cannabis has long been used for fibre (hemp), for medicinal purposes, and as a recreational drug. Industrial hemp products are made from Cannabis plants selected to produce an abundance of fiber and minimal levels of THC (Δ9- tetrahydrocannabinol), a psychoactive molecule that produces the "high" associated with marijuana. The psychoactive product consists of dried flowers and leaves of plants selected to produce high levels of THC. Various extracts including hashish and hash oil are also produced from the plant.[3]

Foster care is the term used for a system in which a minor who has been made a ward is placed in the private home of a state certified caregiver referred to as a "foster parent".

The state via the family court and child protection agency stand in loco parentis to the minor, making all legal decisions while the foster parent is responsible for the day to day care of said minor. The foster parent is remunerated by the state for their services.

Foster care is intended to be a short term situation until a permanent placement can be made:[1]

  • Reunification with the biological parent(s)
    • When it is deemed in the child's best interest. This is generally the first choice.
  • Adoption
    • Preferably by a biological family member such as an aunt or grand parent.
    • If no biological family member is willing or able to adopt, the next preference is for the child to be adopted by the foster parents or by someone else involved in the child's life (such as a teacher or coach). This is to maintain continuity in the child's life.
    • If neither above option are available, the child may be adopted by someone who is a stranger to the child.
  • Permanent transfer of guardianship
When we fall in love we often think of our own children. What a little you or the one you love will be like. Yes, they might resemble you, but in reality that maybe it. People are people there is no way to predict who are what we will be.
So if you want to love a child, maybe take the time and think about that little boy or girl crying themselves to sleep wondering what they did that they dont deserve a family or someone to love them.
I have one child, but my heart is to foster and adopt. I believe that it would be beyond selfish of me to bring more children to this world when there are soo many in need of love.
