Our Math Books are available to students online! This can be useful to review concepts, help when students are absent, or if a child forgets their Homework & Remembering Book.
- First, go to www.thinkcentral.com
- Click Mathematics and choose the Math Expressions link (purple writing)
- Fill out the necessary info (NC, Wake County, Cedar Fork Elem)
- Students must fill in the username and password
- Students should know their individual username; all passwords are set to be "stingray"
- Please email me if your student doesn't know their username; it is the same as the one they use for Discovery Education and Study Island
- Then click the "Things to Do" link
- Click "My Library"
- Click Math Expressions "Activity Book" (you can then skip the intro if you
want to)
- Choose the appropriate volume (Volume 1 is usually Quarters 1 & 2; Volume II is usually Quarters 3 & 4)
- You can then navigate to whatever page you are looking for in the hardcover math book or scroll through the Table of Contents if your child cannot remember the page
- The way you can see the homework is by going to the page in the hardcover
book that is associated with the homework (you can also scroll through the table
of contents)
- For example, today we did some work with p.279 in class, so type "279" in the "Go to page" and click
Go
- Today's page that we worked on will show up (it should look familiar to
your student)
- In the blue task bar at the top, there is a smaller bar that says "Unit 1
Resources"
- If you click on that Resources drop down menu, you will see "Homework
7.1"
- Click "Homework 7.1" and it will pull up a printeable version of this page; the "Remembering" page is also available
