Zack Johnson, aka ZJ, has been working the turntables for the past 10 years. Even though ZJ considers himself a Hip Hop DJ, his musical influence stems from various genres such as Soul/Funk, Reggae, Rock and Electro. ZJ has shared the stage with hip hop artists Jurassic 5, Krs One, Immortal Technquie, the Clipse, Common, Jedi Mind Tricks, Method Man, RedMan and the Roots - to name a few. ZJ currently spins for hip hop duo Neighborhood (BVT/NYC), scratches with the Dave Grippo Funk Band and exclusively DJ's for RedBull North America and Skull Candy Headphones. When not teaching at the Lab, you can find ZJ spinning around town and also behind the scenes with concert/event company Lotus Entertainment.
