History:
The Hitchy Poop is a Portuguese Funky Metal band formed in Cartaxo, Santárem, in 2006. For most of its career, the band has consisted of vocalist Joaquim Santos, guitarist Patrick Goltermann, bassist Bruno Barradas, and drummer Ricardo Rodrigues. The band's varied musical style has fused traditional Funky and Metal with various elements of heavy metal, punk rock, and psychedelic rock.
The Hitchy Poop (originally Wild Puppets) was formed at (Escola Secundária do Cartaxo) with Bruno Barradas, Carlos Prada, Patrick Goltermann, and Ricardo Filipe in 2006. THP's first performance was at the Bellíssimo, to a crowd of roughly thirty people. One song had been created for the occasion, which involved the band improvising music called "Another Way". Formation:In 2006 Patrick Goltermann started playing guitar, and after some moths Bruno Barradas starts playing bass. Patrick Goltermann and Bruno Barradas were always playing together and trying to find a drummer and a vocalist to form their band. After some moths they have found two guys that were needing urgently a good bassist (Bruno Barradas) and a good guitarist (Patrick Goltermann) to form a band, but, they had a different type os music style and the band was over after some weeks In 2007 Patrick Goltermann and Bruno Barradas formed a band with one friend of them. The band was called "Wild Puppets", but with no success. In 2008 Bruno Barradas and Patrick Goltermann found a guitarist to play with them and then very quickly they've foud Ricardo Filipe (actual drummer) playing drums in the music school after some days they've asked him to join to the band. The band as formed by Bruno Barradas, Carlos Prada, Patrick Goltermann and Ricardo Rodrigues. After some concerts, Carlos Prada has left the band because he haden't any talent, than he joined another band that was Bruno Barradas and Patrick Goltermann first band! After a week Bruno Barradas, Patrick Goltermann and Ricardo Rodrigues, asked Joaquim Santos to join the band. After alot of work "The Hitchy Poop" was finally formed and released their first album called "Burning Sun" in the same year. "Burning Sun" was released in 2008. Although 11 songs were created with the intention of being released was their first album with the Funky Metal stile. Another way single called Mythic Girl is a maxi single whit 3 musics one music live, other music is a B-side and the other is from the album Another Way.
