North Korea Turns 65

Today is the 65th anniversary of North Korea's ruling Worker's Party.  To mark the occasion, the country staged an elaborate parade featuring 16,000 troops and 100,000 civilians, as well as a display of its missiles and military weaponry.  All of this from a country that is arguably one of the most oppressed in the world. Watch the National Geographic video below, then compare the imagery to that in the photographs from the anniversary celebration.
