Hmmm, The Faces of Mt. Rushmore. That hardly sounds interesting...oh, but it is! NeeNee & Tito  take you on a trip to South Dakota, the home of the famous monument: Mt. Rushmore, where you'll learn not only about how the mountain came to be, but about the man behind the project as well as how the men honored there - were chosen. You will learn about each of their lives too!

 

Interactive Stations:

   K-3 / 4-6: Playdough / soap carving as students learn about the role of 

                     scupture in our early history.

 

   Jr. / Sr. High: Students learn more details as they "interview" each of the            

                        presidents appearing on Mt. Rushmore.
