Only two shows were selected from over 100 submissions. - - - - - - - - - Great job at the Garden Players Benefit, 2010. - - - - - - - - - We Are Monsters, our 2010 show, was a big hit. Click here to see the Queens Gazette Article!!! | THE GARDEN PLAYERS A more than 40 years old staple of the Forest Hills Community, this childrens musical theater program run initially by Susan Fischoff has been under the direction of Betina Hershey since 2002. At the end of the school year, participants will perform in a fully staged, choreographed, costumed original production with a band at the Community House to an audience of up to 240 per show.  Photo by Yolanta Perkins: Musicville 2011 Current Students & Alumni of the Garden Players have attained high levels of achievement, including: singing the national anthem at the US Open, being accepted into Professional Performing Arts School, Fiorello H. La Guardia High School of the Performing Arts, Frank Sinatra High School, Talent Unlimited, Mark Twain, appearing on Saturday Night Live and more. Congrats!

And Sunday, Happy Mother's Day - Enjoy a brunch and then come to rehearsal! This is a VERY IMPORTANT rehearsal in the theater space, so please do NOT MISS May 13th, in the Community House. Seats are numbered. Ticket donation is $12 (children under 3 may sit on your lap for free) We have 3 shows: (Saturday May 19th at 7pm -SOLD OUT), Sunday May 20th at 2pm and 6pm. The show is 1 hour long. Congrats to our 8th graders! Celine, LaraJo, Valeska, Michaela, Nicole, Alexandria, and Allison will be going to High School at LaGuardia, Frank Sinatra, and Talent Unlimited next year for voice and musical theater! We're so proud!!! - - - - - - - - - Our 2012 benefit was a success and raised money towards buying some wireless mics for our upcoming production! It was a treat to have world-touring Tamar Korn performing trad jazz tunes of the 1920's and 1930's! - - - - - - - - - America's Top Ensemble had a successful weekend of shows June, 09!
