Mark 1:35 "Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He(Jesus) went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed." The First Hour Ministries is founded on this model. It is through Prayer that we seek out the heart of God and his will for our lives and it is through the Verse by Verse study of the word of God that we are given the examples and the information needed to grow us in Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit… If we focus on the Spirit and neglect the word of God we become weak and easily pulled from the truth… if we focus on the Word and neglect the Spirit we become dried up… in essence the spirit of God takes the word of God and transforms the people of God.
