Phil Gillen '13 as Romeo in Romeo and Juliet 
Phil Gillen’s youthful Romeo captured the innocence and passion of the role in a highly unorthodox and beautifully directed Romeo and Juliet, catapulting him to the win. 

Runner Up:
Josh Wilson '13 as Hieronimo in The Spanish Tragedy 
Josh Wilson portrayed the grieving father of a murdered son who slowly frays under the pressure to pursue revenge, shouldering a difficult role with poise and presence.

Andy Boyd '14 as Rene Gallimard in M. Butterfly
Andy Boyd’s gullible diplomat falls in love with a man disguised as a woman and lives with him for decades before learning the truth – Boyd’s performance as the poor sap was both riveting and horrifying. 
Dan Giles '13 as Mr. Marmalade in Mr. Marmalade 
Dan Giles successfully transforms into the toxic, abusive figment of a tragically sophisticated four-year-old’s imagination who can be both kind and monstrous. 
Tony Oblen '14 as Willie Nelson in Paradise NV
Tony Oblen’s performance as the hilariously tenacious and inept Canadian spy who tries to capture an elusive hacker showed a performer willing and able to commit to every comic bit to fantastic and entertaining effect.
