This year's convention in St. Louis, MO, was an overwhelming success with a record 920 registrants. In addition to keynote sessions by Li-Young Lee, Chris Abani, Azar Nafisi, and Judith Ortiz Cofer, there were 690 papers presented and 25 panels. Over $6,000 was awarded in prizes for works presented at the convention.
