This project is a matinee cliffhanger in the tradition of the old Republic serials similar to "The Crimson Ghost", "Flash Gordon", or "Commando Cody" but with a noir twist. Special emphasis of this project is creating highly stylized and visually sophisticated images as a counterpoint to the plot with the use of traditional in-camera effects. This includes miniatures, rear/front projection screens, mechanical effects and stunts! Some of the best in-camera effects and stunts come from the silent comedies of Buster Keaton, Charlie Chaplin and Harold Lloyd. We'll take the stunts and effects of these masters and adapt them to an action genre. -Steal from the best!
