Several of our expert reel-to-reel audio experts will demonstrate studio recording equipment and play reel-to-reel master tapes. Meeting to be held in Westbrook, CT.

April 7: CAS Quiz Bowl

The first CAS Quiz Bowl will take place in Greenwich, CT. Members will compete for prizes by displaying their keen knowledge of all things audio. Do you think you can remember your audio history? Can you name that tune? Do you remember what amplifier the host of that great meeting used? These and many other questions will be answered and prizes will be awarded!

The Big Annual Holiday Meeting in Killingworth, CT. Topics: Elect Board Members for 2012; Guest speaker is record producer John Marks, a Senior Contributing Editor and Columnist for Stereophile magazine, and a Contributing Editor for LISTEN magazine.

Listening session in Newington, CT. The theme will be: a favorite ACCURATE recording (i.e. most accurately captures the spirit of live music, maybe one that you use to evaluate new equipment and rooms).  The attendees will have time to constructively comment on each selection.
