Founded on the principle that “seasoned grievers help the newly bereaved, by supporting and comforting them through their grief journey”, The Compassionate Friends mission is simple: to assist families toward the positive resolution of grief following the death of a child of any age and to provide information to help others be supportive. Our vision is that everyone who needs us will find us and everyone who finds us will be helped. We support, educate and unify families affected by the death of a child.

Only families who have experienced the death of a child can truly understand what it’s like to live with such a devastating loss.  The Compassionate Friends of Tallahassee connects families so they can give and receive the support and understanding that is so important to not just survive, but to live, laugh and grow.
