• The stock market is our new banking system.  Over half of all  family assets are now held in the stock market.
•  Nearly one-third of our population -- over 80 million people -- are part of the baby-boom generation.
• The run-up in  the value of the stock market coincides directly with increased demand as the baby-boomers reach their maximum savings rate.
•  The on-rushing tidal wave of retiring boomers after 2010-2012 will cash in on their investments to fund their retirements.
