You have arrived at the California Northern Cavy Rescue's site (also known as CNCR.) We are proud to be your local cavy rescue that serves the areas of Sacramento, California. (Which includes: Folsom, Roseville, Rocklin, Rancho Cordova, Elk Grove, El Dorado Hills, Auburn, Placerville, Stockton, Natomas, etc.) CNCR always has atleast one guinea pig looking for a new home that is available for adoption!

Or maybe you're here because you can't keep your cavy anymore due to cost, responsibility or allergic reactions? Please view our "Surrending" page for more information and to see if we have room to take them in. Wanting a baby guinea pig? Lower the rate of more guinea pigs needing home by adopting from our rescue versus buying from a guinea pig breeder! Nothing better than helping a good cause. And in case you're wondering, the staff involved in this rescue do not add to the number of guinea pigs through breeding.

5.11- Pinto and Comet were adopted 4.12- Summer, Joyce, Gracie, Cherry and Chloe were adopted 4.5- Baylee, Rosie and Cheena went to a good home 1.30 - Kiwi and Whiskey joined. 1.16- Princess and her babies joined us, along with 3 4 week old babies, Comet returned to our loving care. Paint, Bella and Carmel were adopted!
12.10 - Ella & Willow were adopted
11.30- Mac was adopted!
11.25 - New editions, Marbles, Blue, Prince, Snow, Abee, Joyce, Crush, Lexy, and 2 additional boars.
10.22- Site is now fully up to date! Since the last update Tom & Jerry, 3 Neutered boars, 11 LA shelter dump pigs, Robby and Sierra, Mochi and Chuu, and Carmel joined CNCR.(21) While Honey, Molly, Bandit, Baylee, Cookie, Freckles, Sadie, and Gyspy were adopted!(8) -
9.5- Midnight and Duke were adopted while 2 females joined. 9.2- Kimmi joined us. 8.30- Belle & her buddy joined us. 8.28- Woody, Delta, Nike, Arrow, Cinnamon and Lena were adopted all to great homes! 8.25- Trixy joined us. 8.23- Rosie and her buddy joined us. |
