zero: what is the bunker?
the bunker is a student-run bar and night club on middlebury's campus that started opened in jan 2008. it is open to all students. we have a cash bar (for those 21+), djs/live music, and plenty of room to cut the rug. it's run by students, for students. so enjoy it, live it up, and respect it.
one: how do i get to the bunker?
two: is there a byo (bring your own alcohol) policy?
vermont liquor says no alcohol from outside, but we do have a bar where you can buy drinks, provided you are of legal age. we ask you to leave your coat in the coat room for this reason.
three: can i get kicked out?
if you are a danger to yourself or others we will have to ask you to leave. be nice and leave quietly. we’re all friends here.
four: why the coat check?
see question three. and it opens up more floor space for you to cut a rug with your walking man and macarena.
five: what time does the bunker stop serving drinks?
one o’clock in the a.m. it’s college policy and we like to follow the rules.
six: what kind of beers do you serve?
whatever you want. we can order just about anything there is. generally we have a light domestic draught and a local brew. we also have wine for those inclined and red bulls for people like dcam.
seven: is there a limit to how many people can be in the bunker?
the bunker is rated by the fire marshal to hold two hundred bunkies. we try to stick to that number so come early and don’t be cross with us if there’s a line. sorry.
eight: i have an idea to improve the bunker, what can i do?
we like advice and criticism. give us your feedback.
nine: do you host parties or events?
yes please. if you cover the costs we can arrange your birthday party, bar mitzvah, sweet sixteen, bachelor party, baby shower, charity ball, or team banquet.
ten: how can i track down something that i lost?
fill out our lost ones form and try stopping by the bunker durning normal school hours 8am-5pm. valuables like wallets, keys, cell phones will be held by the bunker or public safety.
eleven: any more questions that you'd like answered?
