Since 2010, The Brink has hosted an annual quiz competition called The Sledge on the Edge! Every year a theme dictates which contestants can compete and after several qualifying rounds Semi Finals and then a Grand Final is held to determine the SOTE Champion! Here you can find all the results and stats for each of the SOTE held!
2010
The innagural Sledge was held from April through to July and saw 15 contestants who weren't originally from Hobart compete. 8 qualifying rounds were held before the Grand Final was held on the 30th of July between Hannah Morrell from Launceston and Alex Johnston from Port Sorell. The final score in the Grand Final was:
Alex Johnston was thusly declared the first ever winner of the SLEDGE ON THE EDGE!

2011
The second Sledge was held from February through to April and saw 16 contestants represent their respective AFL clubs (Gold Coast weren't included) as we sought to find the which club had the smartest supporter. After 5 gruelling rounds, Fremantle supporter Tim Melsom topped the table and went straight into the Grand Final, while 5 competitiors battled it out in the Semi-Final with the top 2 going through to meet Tim in the GF. The score in the Semi-Final was:

This setup a 3-way battle for the 2011 Sledge on the Edge championship! After a close fought battle between Tim & Adam, the final score at the end of the thrilling contest was:
Tim Melsom was thusly declared the second ever Sledge on the Edge Champion and Fremantle declared the smartest AFL Club in the land!
