Ann Bolton became Ladies Champion defeating Muriel Seaman 22 - 14 in a closely fought match. Cliff Brace claimed the Mens Championship beating Derek West 21 - 6 while David Charleston overcame Evelyn Brace 21 - 19 in a very close Mixed Handicap Singles Final. After a very tactical 2 hr 45 minute marathon David came from way behind to just pip Evelyn to the post.
In another close game Tom Cunningham won the Mens 2-wood trophy beating Joe Seaman 14 - 12 whilst Isobel Kimber won the Ladies 2-wood 16 - 6 against Gay Lyle. The Mixed Pairs Championship was won by Evelyn Brace and Derek West who triumphed over Peter Burnell and Isobel Kimber 29 - 9.
The day culminated in a barbarcue, organised, as ususal by Percy and Isobel Kimber with most of the members contributing to the feast.
