This is the part of North Northumberland I frequent most, particularly the east coast between Craster and Alnmouth. The area has some fantastic coastal scenery, with deserted beaches, cliffs and rocky skeers. There are no 'tourist' resorts here, so if you like amusement arcades, promenades and the like, go elsewhere! The only wildlife downside, is that there is very little in the way of standing freshwater.
