I would like to spend more time drawing and painting. I try to take notes as near as I can to being in the field as possible too, often doing a quick outline with notes then adding more details or colour back at home. I get inspiration from many famous and not so famous artists, but I definately prefer those who illustrate in a relaxed manner rather than those artists who can do paintings like photographs. My favourite artists are - Eric Ennion, Richard Richardson, David Measures, Lars Johnsson, John Steele, George Miller, Michael Warren and Eileen Soper to name but a few...
