The Student Government of Ferris State University is proud to work with the City of Big Rapids in presenting the second annual BIG EVENT.   The BIG EVENT is held on a single day when Ferris students come together and give back to the community by performing household chores.  These chores include washing windows, raking leaves, trimming bushes, sweeping, weeding, small paint jobs, and much more (no power tool projects).  Labor and supplies are provided completely free of charge.  Last year, over 200 students volunteered at 20 houses in the community.  This year we invite you to help make this event even better and bigger. 

    The BIG Event will take place on Saturday April 18^th from 9am to 2pm.This year, 75 houses have signed up for the BIG Event. That means we need 500 student volunteers. All volunteers will receive volunteer hours, food, and a BIG Event T-shirt.
