Mission:
To impact the lives of children and their families using the research-based interventions of Applied Behavior Analysis. Making learning a fun and enjoyable experience is our goal in each teaching endeavor.
In all of our programs, we place an emphasis on functional language & communication, play & leisure skills, social skills & peer interactions, learning to learn in a group & independence to aid in your child's development. Our goal is for your child to enjoy learning!
Our behavior analytic programs are all data-based, including home programs, school consultation, IEP development, parent training, early behavioral intervention, social skills and social thinking groups, group therapy for kindergarten readiness, assessments and evaluations, FBAs, and supervision of BCBA and BCaBA candidates.

We provide services to families, home teams, schools, and the community from our headquarters in Kansas City.
KCBA is owned and operated by Jennifer Potterfield MA, BCBA, and Mandy Weihe BS, BCaBA, in cooperation with Amy Sanner MA, BCBA.

KCBA is sponsoring Hip Hop Academy, an organization committed to celebrating youth through DIRECT involvement in their supplementary education! They teach youth the arts of Hip Hop Dance, DJ’ing & Turntablism, Rhyme/Emceeing/Poetry, Visual Arts including Mural Art / Graff , and Hip Hop History & Culture. They encourage education, mutual respect, community involvement, teamwork, individual self worth, artistic vision, hard work, as well as an active and healthy lifestyle.
This will be a family friendly event with:
- dance circles
- live graffiti art
- MC'S and DJs bringing music to the masses
- special performances from local artists.
