Training for Parents, Teachers & Therapists

This 2-day workshop (2 consecutive Saturdays) is designed to give families, care givers, paraprofessionals, autism specialists, and therapy providers more in depth training than the initial 1-day seminar. Participants will not only receive handouts and lectures, but participate in a video modeling and feedback program.

Day 1

Will involve learning background theory on effective ABA teaching procedures and watching and receiving explanations regarding good teaching practices. Time will be spent on developing specific teaching programs. When day 1 is over, participants will be ready to go home to practice and video-tape what they have learned.

Day 2

All participants will view each other working (via video), while giving and receiving feedback on their work. Follow-up questions and information can be shared with the group via the forum section of this website!!
