Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA's) can be conducted within school and/or home settings. Before a comprehensive Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) can be created, the function of the behavior must be identified.  Once this occurs, a quality BIP can be put into place to address the problem behavior and increase more appropriate behavior.  When asked to create a BIP for a student, an FBA will be conducted prior.
