We offer a variety of services to help children reach their fullest potential.  Services offered are described below:

Supervision and Consultation:

Helping families to set up home based ABA programs, we provide assessment, program development & training for individualized treatment plans to meet your child's behavioral and educational needs. We will assist in finding therapists to staff your program and will ensure they are trained in not only your child's program, but in the core fundamentals of behavior analysis.

Home Programs

Group Therapy:

KCBA is currently offering an ABA based classroom for children ages 4-5. We focus on learning new skills in a group, group participation, pre-academic and social skills.

Leaping Learners

Social Skills & Thinking:

This group is designed for students who need assistance in not only knowing how to interact and behave socially, but understanding the whys.  The group works to make socially interacting fun and strive to engage in activities that will dig a little deeper into why it's important to make and keep friends.

The Big Picture

Workshops:

Workshops are given on a variety of topics including:  Understanding ABA, How to Know Where to Start: VB-MAPP, Understanding & Decreasing Problem Behavior, Starting up a Home Program & Teaching New Skills. Contact us for more information.

Assessments:

After receiving a diagnosis of an Autism Spectrum Disorder through a thorough diagnostic evaluation, it is necessary to conduct an assessment of operant level or baseline skills.  We conduct VB-MAPP and ABLLS-R assessments to assist in developing an appropriate curriculum for your child. Ongoing assessments may be given to objectively measure both the program and ongoing progress of your child.

Functional Behavior Assessments and Functional Analysis can be conducted to determine the function of your child's aberrant or maladaptive behavior.  Once a function is determined, a proper treatment plan can be put into place to increase or decrease target behaviors. Following an FBA or FA, a 1:1 individualized treatment plan can be put into place to achieve desired outcomes.
