Team Work

Working in a team is both educating as well as rejuvenating, because we get to learn many new things, and at the same time, get to do what we are best at. I have participated in many group design competitions, won a few of them, and have learnt a lot from these annual or semi annual design ventures.

I definitely acknowledge the sweat of my hardworking teammates for the impressive output.

1. The Sports Preparatory Camp Design competition, Kolkata
   

Teamwork


Problem - To Design a sports preparatory camp in Rajarhat, Kolkata, keeping in mind the practice requirements of the Indian sports team for the upcoming Beijing Olympics.



2. The Ashram Complex, Varanasi

Problem - To Design an ashram with facilities like a meditation hall, dormitories, a research center, a resource center and an amphitheater, on the bank of river Ganga, in varanasi.



3. The  Grand Central (Kharagpur Railway Station Redesign) Competition

Problem - To Redesign the Railway Station of Kharagpur, which has the third longest platform (1072.5m) in the world. Competition name: The Grand Central, Kshitij (The Techno management festival of IIT Kharagpur).


4. HUDCO Trophy 2009, National Association of Students of Architecture (NASA, India)

Problem - Slum Relocation; to design housing colony for LIG and EWS in an area of 10,000 square metres.
