If you are a veteran of solu-medrol IV infusion of steroids then you have discovered that the infusion comes in a totally new "wrapper".
I was surprised when I was told by my home infusion representative, that I would be receiving a BALL of solu-medrol, rather than a bag of solu-medrol.
The pictures show the difference in the transfusion methods. With the ball we now have convenience and freedom of movement. No more IV poles to carry around, if you like, you can put the IV ball in your pocket, or your purse if you are headed to the store. What convenience!
