We like to visit zoos when we can, because both of us love animals. We went to the San Diego Wild Animal Park back in December 2005, the Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake City several times the summer before we got married, the San Diego Zoo on our honeymoon, and Sea World in July 2007. Here are some pictures:

See? Cody loves monkeys. This was at the Hogle Zoo, and the gorillas were being quite silly...

Like this one. He (she?) walked around for awhile with the towel on his (her?) head. Silly monkeys. (And please don't give me a lecture on how monkeys and gorillas are different...for our purposes, they are in the same family)

Carina loves cheetahs, so it was awesome to see this one up close at the San Diego Zoo.

All those flamingos remind me of when I did a report on them in elementary school...

Two very rare animals, indeed. We put up this picture to remind ourselves that, on this trip to Sea World, Carina felt Joshua move for the first time. Awesome.
