Avery, Michael. Michael Avery was born and raised in the small, rural community of Friendship, Alabama. His faith and values are a product of his Wesleyan Methodist roots and Southern heritage. He is a graduate of God’s Bible School and College (BRE) and Cincinnati Bible Seminary (MA). He was honored with a doctor of divinity degree from Wesley Biblical Seminary in 1998. He pastored with the Bible Methodist Church for 10 years, served as a denominational leader for 5 years, served as General Missionary Secretary for the Bible Methodist Connection of Churches for 5 years, and has served as the President of God’s Bible School and College since 1995. He maintains an active schedule of speaking in camp meetings, revivals, conventions, and conferences. His wife Ruth and he have two married sons and two lovely daughters-in-law. Josh and Faith live in Schenectady, NY. They attend the Schenectady Pilgrim Holiness Church. Jon and Beth live in Cincinnati. They attend the Kenwood Bible Methodist Church.

 

Bird, Mark.

 

Brown, Allan. Dr. Allan Brown has served as the chair of the division of Ministerial Education at God’s Bible School and College, Cincinnati, OH since 1996.  He has taught both Graduate and College level classes for the last 40 years during which time he also served as a senior pastor for 25 of those years, pastoring 4 different churches.  In addition to his teaching, he is actively involved in an itinerate preaching ministry. He is married to Dr. Nadine Brown who is involved in cancer research at the Children’s Hospital Research Center in Cincinnati, OH.  They have two married sons and 5 grandchildren.

 

Brown, A. Philip, II. Philip Brown teaches at God’s Bible School and College in Cincinnati, OH. He serves as the chairman of the Aldersgate Forum Steering Committee. Cravens, Chris D. Chris Cravens is the Senior Pastor of the Bible Methodist Church of Findlay, Ohio and the Law Enforcement Chaplain for the Findlay Police Department. He is completing a Master of Arts in Ministry Leadership at Indiana Wesleyan University and is the 1st Elder on the Executive Committee of the Heartland Bible Methodist Connection of Churches. He also serves as Youth President for the Heartland Bible Methodist Connection of Churches and is a Board member of the Inter-Church Holiness Outreach & Bus Convention. Chris is married to Julie and with her has four children: Meagan, Christopher, Ryan and Luke.

Gordeuk, David. David Gordeuk is Pastor of Spiritual Life at Hobe Sound Bible Church, Hobe Sound, FL.  He also serves as Director of the Christian Service Department at Hobe Sound Bible College.  His wife Janice is an R.N. and they have four children, Jonathan, Julie, Jeana and Jeffrey.

 

Gumbiner, David. David Gumbiner, PMP, is a Sr. Project Manager for SunGard Higher Education. He has been saved for 28 years and is a member of the Pilgrim Holiness Church of Griffith, IN. David serves as a Board Member, Sunday School Superintendent, Married Couples Sunday School Teacher, and Youth President.  He is very involved in understanding the ongoing issues in the Conservative Holiness Movement. He lives in Schererville, IN and has been married 27 years to his wife Debra. They have three Children: Kara, 24, Child Life Specialist; Nathan, Senior Ministerial Student at God’s Bible School working on his AA in music; and Krysta who is a pre-law major at Valparaiso University.

Loper, Rodney. Rodney Loper is currently working on a MA in Biblical Leadership with a concentration in Expository Preaching at Trinity Theological Seminary. He is also Pastor of Community Life at Hobe Sound Bible Church.  He lives in Hobe Sound Florida with his wife, Melissa, and children, Scott, Breanna, and Brooklyn.

 

Miles, Richard. Richard Miles is Vice President for Student Affairs at God’s Bible School and College (Since 1997).  Previously he served as a Christian educator as principal and teacher for 19 years and served as pastor for twelve years.  In addition to his teaching and preaching ministries, he presents seminars on relationships, marriage, parenting, and conflict resolution.  He is a graduate of GBSC and has an MA in counseling from Liberty University.  He is married to Brenda (Hodge) and has two children, Brent and Amy, and one granddaughter.

Moser, Merideth L. Meredith Moser is currently working on a Master's degree, teaching at GBSC (mostly Youth Ministry classes for the ministerial division) and pastoring a local congregation in the Northern Kentucky area. 

 

Reiff, Glenn. Dr. Glen Reiff is a graduate of God's Bible School and College and Luther Rice Seminary.  He was a missionary for most of his life in Central America, but is now retired and living in Cincinnati, Ohio.  At the present time he is working on some Spanish Bible classes to put on the Internet which will be available for all Spanish speaking students around the world.  He also visits different mission fields as needs and invitations come in for Bible courses.

 

Sankey, Leonard. Leonard Sankey was born, reared, and received elementary and secondary education in Western Pennsylvania; the Wesleyan Methodist Church provided his early religious background.  He attended and graduated from God's Bible School (ThB, 1960) and married Janet Ferguson (GBS H.S., 1959) in 1960.  After pastoring 1 year in WV (1961 - 1962), he was involved in missionary work in Guatemala and Honduras (1962 - 1975), Central America, where their three children were born, and in missions administration from 1975 - 1979.  He has pastored Faith Mission Church, Bedford, IN, since 1979. Two of the Sankeys’ children, Beth and Marc, are serving with their families as missionaries in Mexico, while another daughter, Vonnie, and her family live in North Pole, AK.  The Sankeys enjoy 11 grandchildren. Leonard has served on numerous boards including FEA, SIM, EFM, and presently is chair of the GBS board of trustees.  He is General Secretary of the Interchurch Holiness Convention, and a member of the IH Convention Committee.  His missionary/ministry interest has taken him to Egypt, South Africa, Ireland, Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Belize, the Dominican Republic, Cuba, Costa Rica, Bolivia, and to most of the USA.

 

Smith, Joseph. Joseph Smith is the Senior Pastor of the Shelbyville Bible Holiness Church where he has pastored since 1984. He is an elder in the Heartland Conference of the Bible Methodist Connection of Churches. He graduated from God's Bible School and College with a Bachelor of Religious Education in 1980 and is currently completing a Master of Arts in Christian Studies through Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He has been married for thirty years to Sharon (Morrow) Smith. They have five children: Stephen and wife Jessica and son Isaac, Stephanie, Nathan and wife Laura, Andrew and Benjamin. Smith, Larry. Since 1995 Larry D. Smith has served as editor of God's Revivalist, official publication of God's Bible School and College. He also serves GBS as part-time instructor in the Division of Ministerial Education. For over 40 years he has been a teacher and has also served as pastor and evangelist. He and his wife Carol live in the Cincinnati suburb of Oakley. They have two children and four grandchildren.

 

Smith, Stephen B. Stephen Smith is currently working on a PhD in Theological Studies with a concentration in New Testament Exegesis and Theology at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He also teaches an adult Sunday School class and preaches regularly at the Wesleyan Missionary Church in Chicago. He lives in Wheeling, IL with his wife, Jessica, and son, Isaac.

Stetler, Mark D. Mark Stetler is finishing up 10 years of pastoring in Fort Scott, KS at the Parkway Church of God Holiness. He has graduated from God's Bible School (BRE) and Nazarene Theological Seminary (Master of Arts in Christian Ed., 06) He is married to Kathyrn (Bittinger), 1995. They met at God's Bible School. They have four kids: Ellie, Jake, Jessica, and Clark; five horses: Molly, Tag Along, King, Kookie, and Maggie; one dog, Ringo; and one cat, Butterschotch. Lots of enjoyment in ministry!

 

Stetler, Monte V., Sr. Monte Stetler is presently pastoring the Village Park Bible Methodist Church in Westfield, IN.  He is now in his 16th year as pastor of Village Park and his 40th year of pastoral ministry.  He and his wife Mary enjoy their three children and their companions and seven wonderful grandchildren. 

 

Street, Andrew. Andrew Street is working on a MAR (Master of Arts in Religion) with an emphasis on evangelism and church-planting from Liberty Theological Seminary. He is currently serving as the pastor of Trinity Bible Methodist Church in Tocsin, Indiana, just south of Fort Wayne.

 

Thornton, Wallace.


Trouten, Edsel. Edsel Trouten was born and reared in Monroe County, southern Michigan. He attended God’s Bible School High School and School of Theology (ThB), Cincinnati Bible College and Seminary (MA), and the University of Maryland Oversea Extension School. He and his wife Alice (who is now in an Assisted Care Community) met and married in 1960 at GBS. He entered pastoral ministry in February 1960, and pastored in the Eastern Ohio District of the Pilgrim Holiness Church, the Ohio Conference of the Wesleyan Methodist Church, the Ohio Conference of the Bible Methodist Connection of Churches, and the West Central District of the Christian and Missionary Alliance. He was the first Chairman of the Wesleyan Connection of Churches (the forerunner of the Ohio Bible Methodist Connection of Churches) and served on the general connectional committee of the Bible Methodist Connection of Churches. He has been active in revivals and campmeetings and was a member of the teaching staff at Hobe Sound Bible College, God’s Bible School, and Aldersgate School of Theology. He was a Co-leader/teacher with Leroy Adams in a Bible Conference in London, England and presented papers at several study conferences including topics as diverse as “Current Philosophical Influences in Theology,” “Doctrinal issues in the Keswick Movement,” “The Wesleyan Doctrine of Assurance,” “Inerrancy,” and “The Pauline Concept of the Flesh.” 

 

Quesenberry, Duane. Duane Quesenberry is a graduate from God's Bible School & College (1994).  He has been a pastor for the last 15 years and currently serves (since 2004) the Salem Bible Methodist Church, in Salem, Ohio.  Duane is married to Valorie (Bender) and together, they enjoy their four children: Ashley, Autumn, Stewart, & Kaley.   

 

Wolfe, Paul. Paul Wolfe serves as the Senior Pastor of Hobe Sound Bible Church.  He is married to Sherri, also a graduate of GBS.  They have two children, Joshua and Julia.  Maggie, a Cavalier Spaniel, rounds out the household.
