Versioning

Versioning is a simple process involving 3 numbers.

The first number represents the major version number, this represents a certain level of completeness. For instance 1.000.0 will mean that the system is stable and complete, it will be playable.

The second number represents minor version number, this is a level of minor feature changes and improved completeness over previous versions. For example 1.001.0 would be the inclusion of various errata and fixes that would improve game-play over 1.000.0. It could also be the addition of a new class, skill, feat.

The third number is a level of basic fixes that don't necessarily change game-play, but should clarify existing rules to be better understandable. For example 1.000.1 would be some rewording, and reordering over 1.000.0. The changes would not be drastic, and would be even smaller than minor fixes.

Each increase in number should represent something of an improvement. However, only major version changes will be large scale changes to the system, and this will only mean something after version 1.000.0 is reached.
