| This is a class of skills that you kind of just know about. They represent what you know, and are usable for various bonuses in certain situations. There will be two different ways to use these skills, the first one will be roll, and if you beat the associated dc for what you are trying to figure out, you know it. The second way will be a table that reflects the level of knowledge that you should know off hand, and you may roll to see if you know something more esoteric. The maximum number of ranks one may have in a skill (except knowledge skills) is your maximum stat bonus in the stat associated with that skill per level, minimum of 4 points per level (Intelligence) Alchemy - max ranks is 3 per level for the first 2 levels (no matter what) and then normal after that Alchemical Theory - Anatomy -Knowledge of equivalent exchange, the source of energy used in transmutations, knowing your own limits, and what cannot be done. Transmutation Circles - the ability to draw circles that are used to focus energy when performing transmutations. When a skill level of 4 is reached you are capable of drawing basic circles without having to roll except in combat, and will have created your own circle that you use for most of your work. Upon reaching a skill level of 10 you will have intermediate circles mastered, will no longer have to roll for basic cicles, you only have to roll for intermediate circles during combat, and you have improved upon your circle to be very effective. Ancient Languages- max of 3 ranks per level in student or scholar Knowledge on what little is known of ancient languages, max of 3 ranks per level in student. Architecture - how building structures work and functions of various things that are more esoteric. Aids in searches in buildings Astronomy - Botany - Chemistry - Advanced Chemistry - Engineering - Folk Lore - various stories local to certain areas. You may know about legends and myths Fighting Style Techniques - Geography - you know how the lay of the land is and how to use features to your advantage maximum of 5 ranks. You know the layout of various countries, along with rivers and can follow a map. Advanced Geography/Geology - anything above the 5th rank in geography is a rank in this You know about how the land forms and moves, you can figure out some more advanced and difficult things from this. History - The history of your country of origin, and various believes held toward other countries and their histories. Encompasses ancient politics. Law -Math - max of 5 ranks algebra and geometry Advanced Math - starts at rank 6 calculus, linear algebra, Euclidean and Non-Euclidean Geometry, etc. Politics - knowledge on the policies, laws, and how the government works.
